Sunil Pereira is a fiction-based photographer whose work focuses on fine art photography, people, street and architecture.

Photography is a new passion for Sunil. He got hold of his first DSLR in 2016 and he discovered the purpose of his captures has always been to communicate the joy that he finds in living and bring out the beauty that this wonderful world has to offer through his captures.

Sunil does not just take a picture—he captures the essence of his subjects and his work brings out the emotion in the shot. It’s a deeply personal approach that is both soulful and discerning.

He loves capturing people and their emotions and has a wonderful portfolio of ‘Humans’ that he has captured during his travels across the world.

In Sunil’s own words: “Passion cannot be taught..it should come from within - your soul will process what your eye can see and then send signals your index finger to release the shutter....you have now captured a moment in time that will remain immortal....”

Sunil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Pune Institute of Computer Technology in Pune, India.

Currently, Sunil is a Digital Transformation Leader at Amazon and part of the Professional Services group at AWS working with a team of thought leaders, builders, and innovators responsible for deeply influencing the use of AWS at a select set of companies at the forefront of innovation.

Sunil is also on the Board of Directors at the Henrico Community Food Bank, a local Non-Profit organization. Our mission at HCFB is to provide access to nutritious & healthy food in an equitable and dignified manner to those in need and dedicated to serving anyone in need of emergency food assistance.
